3. Permissions

3.1 Notification Permission

Purpose: Allows the app to send timer completion alerts and daily review reminders.

Required: No, denying this permission does not affect other features.

3.2 Photo Library Permission

Purpose: Allows the app to add images in rich diary entries.

Required: No, denying this permission allows normal use of other features.

3.3 Screen Always-On

Purpose: Keeps the screen awake during focus timer sessions.

Required: No, can be disabled in app settings.

4. Data Storage

4.1 Local Storage

All data (habits, focus sessions, diary entries, goals, settings) is stored in a local database (Hive) on your device
Diary images are stored in the app’s document directory on your device
We do not upload any of your data to our own servers
Uninstalling the app will delete all local data and it cannot be recovered

4.2 Offline-First Design

The App is designed to work offline:

Habit tracking: Works completely offline
Focus timer: Works completely offline
Diary entries: Works completely offline (images stored locally)
Statistics & daily review: Works completely offline
Habit goals: Works completely offline

4.3 Cloud Sync

Data models include cloud sync fields, but no cloud sync feature is enabled in the current version. If enabled in the future, we will update this policy and seek your consent.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Apple App Store / Google Play

Subscription purchase, restoration, and management are handled by the platform store:

Since we do not transmit your data to any server, there is no risk of data leakage during network transmission
We recommend using system backup features (iCloud Backup / Google Backup) to protect your data

Local Data: Retained until you actively delete it or uninstall the app

Export: Export app data through system backup features
Manage Subscriptions: Manage or cancel your Pro subscription in the platform store
